Modern Medicine Has Come A Long Way

Particularly interesting about these photos is how the procedures shown here seemed like a good idea at the time. Although I hear that a seated or squatting position is better for giving birth. But leather? That has to be pretty disgusting to sit on. Also, am I a bad person for wanting the girl in the elaborate wheelchair to be pulled by a team of miniature ponies, or to transform into a steam engine and choo-choo away? (Probably.)
